One side offers the lightweight, tightly woven feel of a classic peshtemal, while the reverse adds plush absorbency for bath, beach, pool, or travel.

Finished with hand-knotted fringe and woven in two easy House of Brindle shades — Sea Glass and Dune — Mira brings a relaxed, collected quality to everyday rituals.

Care:  Machine wash cold with like colors. Hang dry or tumble dry on low. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Turkish cotton becomes softer and more absorbent with use and washing.

Artisan Profile

Mira is woven in the Denizli region of Turkey, an area with a centuries-old tradition of textile making. Turkish towels — also known as peshtemals or hammam towels — were historically used in Turkish baths and are prized for their lightweight construction, absorbency, and durability.

The towels are produced by small, family-owned weaving workshops that continue to rely on skilled manual craftsmanship. The artisans work with OEKO-TEX-certified natural fibers and non-harmful dyes, while the finishing tassels are hand-knotted by women working from their homes.

The result is a textile that carries both the beauty of traditional Turkish weaving and the ease of modern everyday use.
