Brindle Olivewood Board Collection

Brindle Olivewood Board Collection

Natural beauty, thoughtfully collected.

The Brindle Olive Board Collection celebrates the distinctive character of olivewood, with its rich grain, warm golden tones, and beautifully irregular forms.  Each board is individually selected for its unique silhouette and natural markings. From elongated, understated designs to organic, freeform shapes, every piece reveals its own combination of flowing grain, contrasting color, and unexpected detail.

Beautiful enough to display on its own, an olivewood board brings warmth and texture to a kitchen, tabletop, or open shelving. Equally at home in a Mediterranean-inspired space or a thoughtfully layered coastal interior, these are pieces meant to be appreciated well beyond their practical form.

Details

● Material: Solid natural olivewood

● Sizes: Dimensions and available designs vary by individual piece

● Care: Wipe gently with a soft cloth and dry promptly.  Do not soak or place in dishwasher.  Periodically condition with a small amount of vegetable oil.  Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and direct sunlight.

The Brindle Edit:  We love the natural warmth olivewood brings to a space. Lean a board against a tiled kitchen backsplash, display one on an open shelf, or layer it on a kitchen island alongside a folded linen towel and a favorite ceramic piece.  For a more collected look, pair olivewood with travertine, matte ceramics, and soft natural textiles. The contrast between the richly patterned wood and quieter materials allows each piece to stand out without overwhelming the space.

Artisan Profile:  Nestled in the heart of Umbria, Italy, Arte Legno has celebrated the natural beauty of olivewood since 1977.  For nearly five decades, this Italian maker has carried forward a tradition of craftmanship, transforming beautiful olivewood into distinctive pieces for the home.  Each creation reflects an appreciation for the wood's natural character, where intricate grain patterns, warm tones, and organic variations make every piece uniquely its own.  Crafted in Italy, these timeless pieces bring a touch of Mediterranean heritage and artistry into everyday living.

Brindle Note:  The Brindle Olive Board Collection is an ever-evolving assortment of individually selected olivewood pieces. Natural variations in grain, color, shape, and size give every board its own distinctive character.  As pieces sell and new finds are introduced, the collection continues to change. Our collection photography reflects this variety, while the available selections represent the designs and sizes currently in stock.

Every piece has been personally selected and inspected for House of Brindle.
