Bifora Sculptural Olivewood Basket

Bifora Sculptural Olivewood Basket

Some pieces are meant to be admired. Others command attention.

The Bifora is a striking expression of natural beauty and sculptural design. Its sweeping arches, fluid silhouette, and richly grained olivewood create a piece that feels as much like an object of art as a decorative vessel.  Warm honey and amber tones move through the wood, interrupted by dramatic dark grain, natural knots, and beautifully preserved bark. The contrast between its smooth, flowing surfaces and untamed organic details gives the Bifora its extraordinary character.

With a silhouette reminiscent of the graceful twin arches found in Mediterranean architecture, this distinctive piece brings warmth, texture, and an unexpected architectural presence to any space.

Beautifully understated. Entirely unforgettable.

The Brindle Edit:  Let the Bifora take center stage. Position it on a substantial console, dining table, or kitchen island where its architectural silhouette can be appreciated from every angle.  For a softer presentation, consider a loosely draped piece of natural linen, allowing the fabric to fall gently through one opening while leaving the sculptural curves exposed.  Our preference? Keep the styling minimal. The movement of the grain, the warmth of the wood, and the beauty of its organic form deserve the attention.

Artisan Profile:  Nestled in the heart of Umbria, Italy, Arte Legno has celebrated the natural beauty of olivewood since 1977.  For nearly five decades, this Italian maker has carried forward a tradition of craftmanship, transforming beautiful olivewood into distinctive pieces for the home.  Each creation reflects an appreciation for the wood's natural character, where intricate grain patterns, warm tones, and organic variations make every piece uniquely its own.  Crafted in Italy, these timeless pieces bring a touch of Mediterranean heritage and artistry into everyday living.

Brindle Note:  Every so often, we discover a piece that makes us stop and look a little longer.  The Bifora is one of those finds.  Its dramatic bark inclusions, intricate grain, and beautifully irregular silhouette are precisely what drew us to it. These natural characteristics are not imperfections to conceal, but details to celebrate.

Personally selected and inspected for House of Brindle, this is an individual piece with a character entirely its own.  The photographs represent the exact piece you will receive.
