The Brindle Edit:  We love Cisterna with one oversized cube and a pour of amaro or bourbon, but don’t save it only for cocktails. Use it for sparkling water alongside a relaxed dinner setting, or serve iced espresso after a long meal. Against walnut, travertine or raw-edged olive wood, the amber glass does all the work.

Brindle Note:   Named for Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, Cisterna takes its cue from warm Tuscan light and old-world glassware. Its amber tone shifts subtly depending on the light and surroundings — appearing softer and smokier in bright daylight, then richer and more golden in evening settings. Slight tonal variation is part of the character of the glass.
